DX Adventurepark
Next to Camping De Lente van Drenthe, you’ll find DX Adventure Park, the largest open-water park in the Netherlands. This fantastic swimming lake features beautiful sandy beaches and an aqua park with giant slides, an inflatable play area on the water, paddle boards, and huge trampolines. If that all sounds a bit too active, you can simply relax and enjoy a swim in the lake.
There’s also a café offering drinks, snacks, and stunning views of the aqua park and slides.
DX Adventure Park is open from May to September—daily during school holidays and on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays outside holiday periods. Entrance fees apply. Check the website for the latest information.

Facilities & Activities
There is loads for families to enjoy at De Lente van Drenthe. Kids can test their head for heights in the Boulder Hall that is open during the Koerscafé’s opening hours, or race on bikes around the outdoor pump track. From June, take a splash in our open-air swimming pool, or brave the steep slides DX Adventure Park. During all school holidays, our recreation team organises a programme packed with exciting activities.
There's also on-park bike rental next to reception, with a wide choice of bikes and e-choppers available to hire.

Pumptrack
Calling all skaters and BMXers! Next to the swimming pool you will find our fantastic pump track, guaranteeing hours of fun. This cool and challenging track is suitable for cross bikes, mountain bikes, stunt scooters and skateboards. Make sure you bring your helmet!

Kids Boulderhal
In the back part of the Koerscafé you will find our indoor playground with Kids Boulderhal! 'Bouldering' is climbing short routes on low blocks or walls. You climb without ropes, but stay low to the ground and there are thick mats for a soft landing! The bouldering hall has a maximum climbing height of 2.5 meters and is therefore suitable for children up to about 11 years old.

SoulRideMTB offers guided bike activities from the campsite. Whether you are a beginner mountain biker or an experienced enthusiast looking for more of a challenge on the trails, they offer great MTB activities for all levels. The certified instructors will take you for a sporty and fun clinic in which we will improve your mountain bike skills or we will take you on a guided MTB tour through the area. The clinics can be booked on request via soulridemtb.com
Or if you're happy to explore by yourselves then you can rent your mountain bike locally. You will find Bike Assist's bicycle and mountain bike rental at the campsite, next to the Koerscafé. Please note, mountain bikes are only rented by reservation, which you can do at least 24 hours in advance at mtbverhuurdrenthe.nl. You can also contact Bike Assist for scooters, e-bikes and e-cargo bikes.
Did you know that we have a Bike Cleaner? You will find it at the front of the campsite, next to the barrier. With the Bike Cleaner, mountain bikers can easily hose down their bikes after a trip through the woods. This way you can get back on the road with a clean bike.
