Lauwersoog is a holiday park with a stunning location, in the north of the Netherlands, situated directly by Lauwersmeer National Park, the UNESCO-protected Wadden Sea coastline, and on the border of the province of Freisland, which is considered to be the most beautiful region in the Netherlands.
It's the perfect location for a unique family holiday exploring some of the most beautiful landscapes of the country. Think huge skies, unspoiled islands, historic waterways and tidal mud flats teeming with wildlife and plants. Days out include boat trips, seal watching, mudflat hiking and dark sky stargazing.
There's a wide range of activities and services available on-site - children will love the indoor and outdoor water-play areas and kids’ clubs, which are led by our enthusiastic entertainment team. At Camping Lauwersoog, during the low season, you can arrive and depart on any day of the week except Saturday (with a minimum stay of 2 nights). During the high season (July to the end of August), arrivals and departures are only possible on Mondays and Fridays (with a minimum stay of 3 nights).
