The long sandy beaches along the Languedoc coastline provides the perfect environment for paddling, swimming, sandcastle building or beach sports.For something more adventurous, try kite surfing or sand yachting. The beaches along the Côte d'Azur are a mix of sand and pebble, Nice and Cannes being famous for their pretty pebbly beaches and Frejus offering long stretches of sand.
